Remember that book that I read recently about Belinda Carlisle? Yep... here's the sweater that I named after her.

Belinda

I just read Belinda Carlisle's memoir, "Lips Unsealed" and finished it in 4 days...

I especially loved her stories about the beginning of the Go Go's and how she and other members of the band sat on a porch in Venice, California and decided to form the band years ago. Their mix of punk with sunny California New Wave and carefree attitude made me want to move to LA as a teenager.

I remember being flattered that somebody said that I looked like Belinda. It must have been my short hair and colorful outfits. I wanted to look like her. As a teenager, I was addicted to early MTV and one of my first albums was "Beauty and the Beat".

And this was my favorite song. These girls knew how to have fun!
