A couple of my former students always have great style. ALWAYS. Matt and Erica step it up from usual casual student style to their own realm. I stopped Erica recently. "Erica, whenever I see you wearing something, I know that it's on the cutting edge." She's wearing these pegged legged pants from her Grandmother's closet, but styled them to make them fresh and new. And ever since I met Matt, he's always rocking a groovy black jacket (or not --- see below).
Their inspiration? Rick Owens, blogs like fashiontoast.com, and 90's supermodels. XO, M.E.
