A walk in the woods, a dip in the river...

Somedays, no cell phone reception, fresh air, and a nice hike are all that you need.

Yesterday, I went with my sister, Blue, her husband, Kevin, and Dave for a nice hike to a private beach near the cabin in Green Mountain, North Carolina.

The bonus? A dip in the nearby river in a swimming hole. Just say aah...

Sally (their dog), tested the water first.

I converted my tank top into a good old fashioned swim suit and went right in. Sister Blue followed.

Dave started out rolling up his jeans, but I convinced him to convert his boxers into a swimsuit. Sorry, I left out that photo! ;-)

And then a walk home.
