Pixie sizes!

I've gotten quite a few requests for smaller sizes. As a size 12/14 busty (yes! They're real) gal, I have envisioned the initial ME & Blue line for girls with boobs and butts. But the tinier gals (love you!) need an ME & Blue fix, too. So we're testing the "Pixie" size. These sizes are designed for narrower shoulders, less of a bust, and are a tad bit shorter. Pixie? Yes. You know her, she's the boxer that my husband & I adopted last fall from Boxer Rescue Los Angeles.

She's a tinier gal, full of grace and fun & lots of spunk. And so she has her own size name at ME & Blue.

Pixie sizes are now available in select styles and colors. Come in and ask for Pixie!

camera ready...

Tomorrow morning, I'm going on to Fox News "Good Day LA" to promote Boxer Rescue Los Angeles. Look for me and this "Champ" between 8:30 and 9 AM here.

I've got my Boxer Rescue LA t-shirt (yay, I'm official!), and Champ got a good bath and a splash of cologne to get ready for his big morning.

I'm excited to meet Jillian and to get this big 'ol boy adopted!

Sip & Shop, a lesson in Ghetto Physics, and Woof-ing it this weekend.

It's a Sip & Shop kindof a Friday, so I'm getting excited about this fun fall weekend. It kicks off with Sip & Shop at the boutique. 4 to 7 PM on Fridays. Yummy snacks and super duper expensive (just kidding!) wine.

Then off to see "Ghetto Physics". Danielle is a big fan, and it's only in town for a few days at the Rave 18 (formerly The Bridge theater).
It's by the makers of "What the bleep do we know?!". I love the idea of this film that in some way, we're all either a "pimp" or a "ho". Yeah, I know it sounds a bit extreme. But really, in this world, there are the people who rally to get the work to the people, and the worker bees. And I love documentaries, they get you thinking about things in a new way.

And Saturday, I'm off to Woof and Wine, sponsored by Boxer Rescue LA. . I do volunteer work with them whenever I can. Pixie Mae came from the Boxer Rescue... love that pumpkin!

Happy weekend!

adopt-o-rama

yes... I'm a big fan of adopting dogs. Dave and I are loving Pixie Mae, our new boxer that we got at Boxer Rescue Los Angeles. And Chase (r) is our fun loving senior gal that was left in an alley last summer. Seriously, there are so many doggies out there that need a good home. And the love that they give back is amazing. Meet Pixie Mae at the boutique most Tuesdays. I'm in to give fashion advice, and she's around to give lots of love, and a big sloppy kiss if you're not careful!

doggie shop girl, Pixie Mae

For the day, our new doggie was an honorary shop girl. Well behaved, until she decided to get up on the couch. We love our new Pixie Mae.

Sunday

I decided years ago that Sunday would always be my official day off. I stray from it when I have to, call the boutique to check on progress as needed, but really try to make it my day to reconnect with friends and family, appreciate all that I have, be thankful, and give back. Today was my volunteer day with the Boxer Rescue here in LA. I do it every other Sunday, and love it. My friend Lorisa told me years ago that if I was going to do volunteer work, I need to really, really love. I'm so glad I found something that I really enjoy doing. XO, M.E.

Sunday, Sunday. And walking boxer dogs

I love this old photo of my Grandfather, Donald Coppock... and his boxer dog, Maiden.  It was taken in the early 70's, I'm thinking.  I grew up with boxer dogs and still love them.   So today Danielle worked at the boutique, and I did volunteer work at Boxer Rescue LA.  I'm wiped out. There were so many fabulous boxers who needed a good walk and attention.  I can't wait to go back!  XO, M.E.
